Coverage: Global Reach for Every Traveler

Both HOLASIM and Saily boast impressive global coverage, ensuring you can stay connected in most popular travel destinations. Each offers coverage in 200+ destinations worldwide, putting them among the top-tier providers for global reach.

• HOLASIM: With connectivity in over 200 destinations, HOLASIM offers robust global coverage. As a US-based global brand, it's designed for worldwide use, not just specific regions. This extensive network is backed by reliable local partners to ensure consistent service.
• Saily: Also covering 200+ destinations, Saily provides broad international access. Built by NordVPN, it leverages a strong network infrastructure to deliver reliable connections across its covered regions.

In terms of sheer numbers, both providers offer excellent global coverage. The actual network performance in specific countries might vary, but both are strong choices for multi-country trips.

Pricing Model: Fixed Data vs. Unlimited Options

The pricing structures of HOLASIM and Saily cater to different user preferences, with a key distinction in their data offerings.

• HOLASIM: HOLASIM offers a versatile pricing model, starting from approximately USD 1.70. Crucially, HOLASIM features unlimited data plans in many destinations, which is a major draw for heavy data users or those who prefer not to monitor their usage. For fixed data, according to our eSIM Price Index (last updated 2026-06-26), a 5GB/15 days plan in Europe or the US is around USD 13.5 (USD 2.7/GB).
• Saily: Saily primarily focuses on fixed-data plans, starting from around USD 3.99. It is often lauded as a great budget option. For instance, our eSIM Price Index (last updated 2026-06-26) shows Saily's 5GB/30 days plan for the USA at USD 13.99 (USD 2.8/GB) and for Thailand at USD 7.99 (USD 1.6/GB), often making it highly competitive on a per-GB basis for fixed plans.

Verdict on Pricing: If you need unlimited data and prefer the peace of mind it offers, HOLASIM is your clear choice. If you're a moderate data user looking for the lowest possible per-GB cost on fixed plans and value security features, Saily often presents a very attractive budget option.

Unlimited Data: A Key Differentiator

This is where HOLASIM truly stands out against Saily.

• HOLASIM: Yes, HOLASIM offers unlimited data plans in many of its 200+ destinations. This is a significant advantage for travelers who rely heavily on internet access for navigation, streaming, video calls, or work, without worrying about data caps.
• Saily: No, Saily does not currently offer unlimited data plans. Its focus is on providing various fixed-data packages (e.g., 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB) for specific durations.

Verdict on Unlimited Data: For anyone requiring unlimited data, HOLASIM is the superior option. Saily users will need to monitor their data usage and purchase top-ups if they run out.

App and User Experience (UX)

Both providers aim for user-friendly experiences, but their approaches differ slightly.

• HOLASIM: HOLASIM offers instant eSIM activation via QR code, making the setup process straightforward. A standout feature is that its eSIM never expires — you install it once, keep it for life, and just top it up each trip. This simplifies repeat travel immensely.
• Saily: Saily, being built by NordVPN, focuses on a clean, intuitive app experience. It's designed for ease of purchase and activation, and includes integrated security features, which adds value for security-conscious users.

Verdict on App/UX: HOLASIM's never-expiring eSIM offers unparalleled convenience for frequent travelers. Saily provides a smooth experience with added security benefits, appealing to those who prioritize digital safety.

Customer Support

Support quality is crucial when you're in a foreign country and need help.

• HOLASIM: HOLASIM offers 24/7 support by real humans in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This multilingual, always-available human support is a significant advantage, especially for travelers who might face issues at odd hours or prefer support in their native language.
• Saily: Saily also provides customer support, generally responsive and helpful, though it might not always match HOLASIM's 24/7 multilingual human agent availability.
